- * , e October 1997 The reactor op3 rated continuously in October with the following exceptions: four shutdowns for scheduled maintenance and refueling; two shutdowns to make aux trap sample inspections.

Major maintenance items for the month included: completing iodincation package 97-2--

separation of emergency and main air requirements in the containment building and routing emergency air to the hot cell exhaust valve; replacing the containment building ventilation return fan motor; removing depleted pool deionization bed "T"--installing new pool deionization bed "E";

removing graphite reDector wedge "K" and installing a replacement.

10/27/97 Refueled--removed ccre 97-46. loaded core 97-47. Removed graphite reDector wedge "K' and installed replacement.
