COMMUNICATIONS ON SHOREHAM Congressman Markey's letter of Apri1 1~2, 1984 requests a description of specified communications regarding Shoreham.

I met with William Catacosinos on February 23, 1984, shortly after he assumed the position of LILC0 Board Chairman.

Members of our respective staffs were also present..The purpose of his visit was to introduce himself to me.

We had no discussion about the licensing of Shoreham.

I have had no other communications to report in response to Congressman Markey's letter.

Nonetheless, I want to mention two additional matters:

(1)

I have been informed that on March 23, 1984 my office received a call from Mr. Phil Bray (GE) suggesting that I visit Shoreham.

(2)

I am attaching an Apri, 27, 1984 memorandum regarding the U.S. District Court litigation on Shorcham.

I said I did not see how he could help but that I'd leave that to our General Counsel to
