_.s SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT GRAND GULF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3/4.7.1 STANDBY SERVICE WATER SYSTEM AUXILIARY SYSTEMS BRANCH By letter dated September 9, 1983, the applicant requested changes to the Grand Gulf Technical Specification No. 3/4.7.1, " Standby Service Water System."
We have reviewed the requested changes and find th e m, t o b e acceptable with the following modifications.
Paragraph 3.7.1.1 starts with the word "The" and should start with the phrase "Each of the following."
Action paragraph e should be modified to read as follows.
"In all Operational Conditions with the SSWS subsystem inoperative, declare the associated diesel generator inoperative and take the ACTION required by Specification 3.8.1.2.
The provisions of Specification 3.0.3 are not applicable."
Paragraph 4.7.1.1 starts with the words "The req 0 ired" and should start with the phrase "At least the above required."

. The applicant has proposed modifications to a technical specification which, for the most part, brings the Grand Gulf specification in line with the standard. This modification should have been made daring the original technical specification review time.
