ATP-7-Q Revision 2 Page 3 of 5 Procedure for Training MGJEC Audit Team Members I. SCOPE This procedure provides the steps to be followed in training Audit Team Members to participate in MGJEC internal audits.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES The President or his designee shall be responsible for providing the training for Audit Team Members.

III. DEFINITIONS A. Audit - A documented activity performed in accordance with written procedures or checklists to verify, by examination and evualation of objective evidence that applicable elements of the MGJEC Quality Assurance Program have been devel~oped, documented and effectively implemented in ac'cordance with Specified requirements.

B. Audit Team Leader - A Qualified Auditor, not directly working on the project, who is qualified to organize and -

direct an audit, report findings and evaluate corrective

, actions.

C. Audit Team Members - A Qualified Auditor, not working l directly on the project, who performs any portion of an l audit.

D. Qualified Auditor - An individual trained in accordance with this procedure.

E. Audit Training Instructor - An individual who has completed:

1. ANSI N45.2.23 Auditor Training or
2. The Audit Team Member training in accordance with this procedure.

IV. PROCEDURE A. The training of Audit Team Members shall be provided by an Audit Training Instructor and include the items listed below:

1. Orientation to provide a working knowledge and understanding of MGJEC Quality Assurance Manual and project instructione.
2. Training consisting of fundamentals, objectives, '

characteristics, organization, performance and results of quality auditing.

3. Training consisting of methods of examining, questioning, evaluating and documentin'g specific audit items and cloying out of audit findings..

B. Document all training as required by Paragraph V below.

V. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION A. All training sessions shall be recorded in the MGJEC Personnel Training Log. (Exhibit 1.0).
