Scoce This procedure describes the steps to be followed for establishing and maintaining project interface control of written communications between Consumers Power Company (CPCo), Bechtel Corporation or other firms, and MGJEC.
II. Responsi bi l i ti es The Project Administrator shall be responsible for the implementation of this procedure.
III. Definitions A. Interface Correspondence - Project-related technical, contractual, and Quality Assurance correspondence between CPCo-or other firms, and MGJEC.
B. SSIP/S Transmittal Form - Transmittal cover sheet for interface correspondence, similar to that shown in Exhibit A.
IV. Procedure A. All interface correspondence to and from MGJEC shall be .
logged and controlled in accordance with ATP-1-Q (Reference A).
B. All interface correspondence between MGJEC and CPCo' shall be by letter or SSIP/S Transmittal Form and treated as follows:
- 1. All outgoing MGJEC technical or quality assurance correspondence shall be addressed to the CPCo SSIP/S Project Engineer.
- 2. All outgoing MGJEC contractual correspondence shall be addressed to the appropriate CPCo contracts or accounting department personnel.
- 3. The President of MGJEC shall receive all CPCo contractual correspondence.
C. All interface correspondence with other firms shall be treated the same as CPCo interface correspondence, except as

D. All i nterface correspondence such as engineering data, Bechtel documents, requests for information, technical reviews, etc., between MGJEC and Bechtel Corporation shall be by letter or SSIP/S Transmittal Form and treated as follows:
- 1. All interface correspondence from MGJEC to Bechtel shall be addressed to the Bechtel Midland Project Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- 2. The MGJEC Project Manager in San Francisco, California shall receive all interface correspondence from Bechtel to MGJEC. If the outgoing Bechtel interface correspondence is in response to a MGJEC request which was initiated from Midland, Michigan (as indicated on the MGJEC letter or SSIP/S Transmittal Form),a copy of such outgoing Bechtel interface correspondence shall be sent by the Project Administrator to the initiator in Midland, Michigan.
E. All outgoing MGJEC interface correspondence requires the signature of the MGJEC Project Manager or his designee. A log of authorized signatures shall be maintained in the project files. The log form shall be similar to Exhibit B.
