BRIEFING OF C030!ISSIONER GILINSKY BY CINCINNATI GAS

& ELECTRIC COMPANY RE QUALITY ASSURANCE On November 13, 1981, Commissioner Gilinsky, and other NRC staff members toured the Zimmer construction site and subsequently met with Cincinnati Cas and Electric Company officials. As a planned part of the meeting, CG5E officials made a presentation on the detailed quality assurance / quality control practices associated with the production and acceptance of a six-inch pipe weld in a safety related system. This was followed by a discussion of the Zimmer Quality Confirmation Program and a description of Cincinnati Cas and Electric Company's present Quality Assurance Program.
