Docket No. 50-458 On February 16, 1982, Gulf States Utilities (GSU) informed Region IV of a deficiency potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). It had been discovered that eleven pipe supports installed inside the drywell were painted with paint not qualified for use in that environment.

GSU committed to provide a Status Report of its lavestigation within 30 days. GSU has not concluded its investigation to determine if this situation could have affected the safe operations of the plant. A Status Report on this investigation will be provided by April 19, 1982.
