, Q River Bend Station-Unit 1 k Jocket No. 50-458 &~TTfm' On February 1,1982 Gulf States Utilities (GSU) informed Region IV of a concern under evaluation for reportability under 10CFR50.55(e) and GSU committed to provide a Status Report within 30 days. On March 2, 1982 GSU determined that this deficiency concerning undersized welds in 20 recirculation system pipe whip mounting brackets met the reporting requirements of 10CFR50.55(e). This determination was reported to your staff on Mar::h 3,1982. GSU will provide the information required by 10CFR50.55(e) paragraph (3) within 30 days.
