the NRC Region IV Office of a potentially it portable condition concerning the interpretation of radiographs performed by B. F. Shaw Company. GSU has not concluded its investigation of the acceptability of the radiographic technique and interpretation criteria used by B. F. Shaw. Further a.ialysis is necessary to determine if a problem exists that meets the criteria for reportability under 10CFR50.55(e). ,

GSU will advise the NRC of the status of our investigation by February 19, 1982.
