j i jj River Bend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Final Report /DR-90 On December 28, 1982, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Region IV Office of a condition pote..tially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning the installation of undersized vertical connection plates of a structural steel beam located in the drywell area.
It has been determined.that the structural steel beam would have performed its intended function. GSU concludes that had this condition remained uncorrected it would not have adversely affected the safe operations of the plant and is therefore not reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). Corrective action has been initiated by N&D 3070. This concludes our response on the subject.
