Docket No. 50-458 Interim Report /DR-65 On August 6, 1982, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Region IV Office of a condition potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning cracking and spalling of surface concrete around penetrations in the River Bend Station Drywell Wall (DR-65).
The condition was noted after pipes were welded onto existing guard pipes penetrating the drywell wall. GSU has not completed its investigation at this tima. An interim or final Status Report will be provided by October 7, 1982.
