River Eend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Interim Report /DR-78 In our Interim Report dated March 29, 1983, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) informed Region IV of the status of a condition potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning the installation and inspection of an undersized fillet weld between a structural member and an embedment plate (DR-78). GSU is awaiting the results of weld reinspections and further evaluation by our architect-engineer. An interim or final status report will be provided by October 17, 1983.
