Dear Mr. Collins:

S a River Bend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Interim Report /DR-105 On March 29, 1983, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) notified Region IV of a condition potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning the electrical separation of the Reactor Protection System (RPS) wiring from the Nuclear Steam Supply Shutoff (NSSS) wiring within the Power Generation Control Complex (PCCC) (DR-105). GSU has not completed its investigation. An interim or final status report will be submitted by July 1, 1983.
