.On March 2, 1982, Gulf States Utilities' Company (GSU) [

notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Region IV Office of a condition potentially reportable under-

10CFR50.55(e) .concerning insufficient beam end gaps between the drywell wall and primary shield wall (DR-39). On

- October 8, 1982, GSU determined, based upon the evaluation performed, that this deficiency met the reporting criteria

- of 10CFR50.55(e) and notifled. Region IV. GSU will provide the written report required pursuant 10CFR50.55(e)(3) by November 8, 1982.
