RESPONSE

The simulator training and operator performance testing administered for TMI Unit 1 control room personnel is described in Section 6 of the Restart Report. Simulator training now includes increased emphasis on simulated, unannounced abnormal and emergency plant occurrences, which trains operators to effectively respond under the stress of emergency control room conditions. See Responses to Interrogatory Nos. 14 and 15, Fourth Set (sic; Fifth Set).
