HUSTED'S FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL ANSWERS TO TMIA'S FIRST REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS AND FIRST INTERROGATORIES TO CHARLES HUSTED In TMIA's First Request for Production of.Docu-ments and First Interrogatories to Charles Husted, Interrogatory 6 asked Mr. Husted whether he discussed the substance of the July 29, 1981 NRC OIE interview with anyone after the interview. Interrogatory 12 asked whether Mr. Husted consulted with anyone con-cerning page 39 of the August OIE Report. The following will supplement Mr. Husted's earlier Answers:

1. Mr. Husted reported in his Answer to TMIA Interrogatory 6 that he had talked with Mr. Newton, 8606160211 860611 PDR ADOCK 050002G9 G PDR

among others, about the July 29, 1981 interview after issuance of the Special Master's Report.

2. On June 3, 1986, Mr. Husted learned that Dr. Robert L. Long has notes of a conversation between Dr. Long and Mr. Newton that occurred on May 27, 1982 and dealt with an earlier conversation Mr. Newton had had with Mr. Husted. Dr. Long's notes of his conversation with Mr. Newton are attached.

3. On June 2 or June 3, 1986, Mr. Husted learned that Dr. Robert L. Long has notes of a conversation between Dr. Long and Jack Herbein that occurred on October 5, 1981 and dealt with a conversation Mr. Herbein had had with Mr. Husted on that day.

Dr. Long's notes of his conversation with Jack Herbein l are attached. Given the statement in the notes that "I&E interviewers and Husted got crosswise," Mr. Husted and Mr. Herbein may have discussed the i July 29, 1981 interview to some extent. Based on these notes, Mr. Husted believes that he talked with l Mr. Herbein but does not recall the content of the conversation.
