LICENSEE'S RESPONSE TO SVA/TMIA'S REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 5 2.741(d), Licensee hereby respends to SVA/TMIA's Request for Production of Documents as contained in SVA/TMIA's Interrogatories to Licensee by stating that the docu-ments identified in Licensee's Answers to SVA/TMIA's Interrogato-ries to Licensee will be made available to SVA/ THIA for inspec- I tion and copying in the following manner:

(1) The documents requested pursuant to interrogatories G2, G3, S13, S14, S22, S27, S49, and S55 will be made available at J

Middletown East End Warehouse Co., Inc., 532 East Emaus Street, Building 22, Middletown, Pennsylvania 17057 These documents will he made available during normal business hours (or such other mutually agraeable time). Appointments to inspect these documents may be arranged by telephoning James Byrne at 948-8461, at least 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> before the requested inspection. Licensee will G

maintain the requested documents assembled in the Middletown East for a reason-End Warehouse available for inspection by SVA/TMIA, able time (i.e_._, through March 29, 1988), af ter which they wi' i be returned to their place of origin.

(2) The documentation of the sample analyses sought pur-suant to interrogatory S21 is quite voluminous, covering several hundred thousand pages.' However, these documents will be made the TMI-2 Chemistry available for inspection on the THI-Site at Department.

These documents will be made available during GPU Nuclear's business hours (or such other mutually agreeable time).

Appointments to inspect these documents may be arranged by i

telephoning James Byrne at 948-8461, at least 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> before the requested inspection. No more than five (5) persons may partici-pate in the inspection. Persons seeking to inspect the documents I must supply Mr. Byrne in advance with their nationality and so-cial security numbers. Evan arriving at the TMI-Site, persons seeking to inspect the documents must present proper identifica-tion (i.e., a driver's license). In addition, any individual who is not a U.S. citizen must present his/her passport or green card. Licensee will make these documents available for inspec-tion through March 29, 1988.

Inspected documents which SVA/TMIA vishes to have copied will be reproduced by GPU Nuclear Corporation on a schedule com- ,

inspection in order to receive any requests for copying. Copies of such selected documents will then be furnished to SVA/ THIA upon payment of 10 cents per page, to meet GPU Nuclear Corpora-tign's cost of reproduction.
