The Commfssion* met to discuss the recommendation of the Presidential Commission on TMI on establishing a citizen's oversight committee on nuclear reactor safety.
The Commission requested that a review be undertaken of citizen advisory groups ia agencies that are comparable to the NRC, to include a qualitative analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of such a system.
The Commission also. requested a legal analysis of the requirements of the Advisory Committee Act with respect to this type of Committec.
