The Commission was briefed by the staff on the use of the EPICOR II system for processing TMI-2 contaminated water. The Commission placed rm specific requirements on the staff at this meeting because they wished to consider first the legal aspects of the matter.

The Commission by a vote of 3-0* directed that the transcript of this meeting and that of the October 4,1979 meeting on this n.bject be appendEJ to the Environmental Assessment of October 3. W,9, 6ad made part of the administrative record in the event the Comission later issues a negative environmental declaration.

In addition, the Commission noted that a closed meeting to discuss the legal aspects of this matter was scheduled to immediately follow their discussion.
