SECY-79-581 - Acoroval Under Section 145 (b) of the Atomic Eneroy Act of 1954, as Amended, for Employment of Steonen C. Whitfield as a Technical Intern to Commissioner Richard T. Kennedy, and for Access to Restricted Data (CONSENT CALENDAR ITEM)
The Comission, by a vote of 5-0:
1.
Determined pursuant to Section 145(b) that the employment of Mr. Whitfield and Mr. Whitfield's access to Restricted Data is consistent with the National interest; 2.
Granted Mr. Whitfield a "Q" access authorization pending the completion of an upgraded NRC access authorization.

SECY-79-593 - Proposed Amendment to 10 CFR Part 73.55 to Extend the Imolementation Date for Certain Comolementary & Alternative Measures for Protection Aaainst the insider Threat (CONSENT CALENDAR ITEM)
The Comission, by a vote of 4-0*:

Approved for publication in final form amendments to 10 CFR Part 73 extending the implementation time for pat-down searches, the two-man rule and additional compartmentalization to November 1,1930.
