SECY-79-583 - Accroval Under Section 145b. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, As Amended, for Emoloyment of William J. Manning as a Leaal Assistant to Commissioner '!ictor Gilinsky and for Access to National Secur;ty Information and Restricted Data (CONSEllT CALEllDAR ITEP.)
The Commission, by a vote of 3-0*, determined pursuant to Section 145b of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, that the employment of William J. Manning as a Legal Assistant to Commissioner Gilinsky, and Mr. Manning's access to National Security Information and Restricted Data is clearly consistent with the national interest.
Based on this determination, the Commisison approved the recommendatica to grant Mr. Manning an flRC "Q" access authorization pending the completion of his processing for NRC access authorization.
