The Conmission* was briefed by the staff on the proposed amendment to 10 CFR Part 73.55, which would extend the implementation date for certain complementary and alternative measures to protect against an insider threat.

Although the Connission took no action on this matter at this meeting, they noted that their views would be transmitted to the Secretary in the near future.

" Commissioners Gilinsky and Kennedy were not in attendance.
