SECY-79-432B - Kranish FOIA Appeal for Information Concerning the Task Force Report in Allegations by James Conran FOIA 79-A-6C)
The Commission, by a vote of 5-0,* granted in part a Freedom of Infomation Act appeal filed by A. Kranish for access to portions of one document previously denied pursuant to exemption 1.
The remaining portions requested on appeal were denied as properly classified infomation. (0GC)
(Subsequently, the Secretary signed a proposed letter to Mr. Kranish infoming him of this action on November 16,1979).
II.
Review of Uncontested Matters by Adjudicatory Boards During Ooeratir7, License Proceedinas The Comissien, by a vote of 5-0,** approved the attached amendment to 10 CFR Part 2 which would provide that during an operating license proceeding, NRC adjudicatory boards may examine any " serious" matter not contested by the parties.
