The Comission* was briefed on the status of the NRC EE0 Program, and requested that:

staff encourace participation at meetings conducted by minority and female technical and professional organizations; (EEO) 2.

staff encourage short-term appointments of professors from mincrity schocls to the NRC, with a guaranteed return provision; ir i' in this conr.ection, staff should consider use of letter 43 notifi:ations to appropriate department chairmen and an annual

Commissioner Ahearne recuested further information on the experience of the pilot jcb-sharing program carried out by the Office of Standards Development.
