In Reference 2, the NRC staff requested additional information to complete its acceptance review of the requested amendment.

In Reference 3, the NRC staff requested written justification if NextEra needed additional time to supplement its Requested Licensing Actions within the 13 day requirement of LIC-1 09.

Pursuant of LIC-1 09, "Acceptance Review Procedures," to resolve information insufficiencies, NextEra is requesting 7 additional working days (due August 28, 2015) to supplement License Amendment Request 277, "Revision to Staff Augmentation Times in the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Emergency Plan." The extension beyond the required 13 days is requested due to the need for thorough responses to the questions posed. In addition, NextEra recently completed a Hostile Action Based (HAB) pre-exercise on August 4, 2015, and is preparing for a HAB exercise on September 15, 2015. These activities are limiting availability of the personnel directly involved in preparing the supplemental information.
