POINT BEACH NRC 2016-0022 10 CFR 50.54(q) 10 CFR 72.44(f)

In accordance with 1 O CFR 50.54(q)(5) and 1 O CFR 72.44(f), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) hereby submits a description of changes to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP)

Emergency Plan and a summary of the analysis demonstrating that the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the plan and the plan, as changed, continues to meet the requirements in 10 CFR 50 Appendix E and the planning standards of 1 O CFR 50.47(b). The changes were incorporated in the following procedures issued April 27, 2016 at PBNP:

EP 6.0, Emergency Measures, Revision 60 EP 7.0, Emergency Facilities and Equipment, Revision 61 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis EP 6.0 was revised to change the referenced protective action recommendation radius values to reflect the changes made to Protective Action Recommendation process in Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure and one additional editorial change to current title and number.

EP 7.0 was revised in relation to the installation of the new EMnet Phone System, various other items to reflect the current name of County Dispatch, new siren system maps and identifiers based on updated software installation, additional information about available Alternate Emergency Operations Facility (AEOF) capability and deleted reference to Dominion Energy, Kewaunee REP-10 Design Report.

These changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and it was determined that these changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the PBNP Emergency Plan.
