North Anna Earthquake AIT Debrief I have spoken with the team leader from the North Anna Earthquake AIT and Region 2 management and there will be no debrief on Friday, September 2, 2011.
The team continues their inspection on Friday morning and will head home Friday afternoon. The team will work from their home offices during the week of September 5, 2011. The next onsite week will be the week of September 12, 2011.
The only significant update from the team is that the licensee has re-measured the position of the TN-32 ISFS1 casks and the spacing has changed on a few of the casks, up to.5 inch. It is unknown if this was due to previous measurement errors, or movement during the aftershocks. The licensee and the AIT are following up on this issue.
I will provide updates on any debrief meetings next week. If you know of anyone else who would like notification, let me know.
