Summary of Proposed Changes
- Extension of augmentation response times from 45, 60, and 75 minutes to 90 minutes
- Extension of facility activation requirements for the Technical Support Center (TSC) and Operational Support Center (OSC) from 60 minutes to 90 minutes; and for the Corporate Emergency Response Center (CERC) from 75 minutes to 90 minutes
- Definition of criteria for facility activation
- Redefinition of minimum staff positions to align with new facility activation criteria
Summary of Proposed Changes
- Revision of On-Shift Staffing to align with NUREG-0654, Revision 2, Table B-1
- Reduction of the Emergency Action Level (EAL) classification at which the Offsite Survey Teams are dispatched from Site Area Emergency (SAE) to Alert
- Removal of references to activities managed by processes outside of the Emergency Plan
- Relocation of administrative positions from the Emergency Plan to implementing procedures
- Removal of reference to the Local Media Center (LMC)
Reason for Proposed Changes
- Better align site Emergency Plans with current regulatory guidance
- Increase the number of individuals available for immediate response to an event by extending response time requirements
