SCHEDULE REVISION FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW OF THE SEABROOK STATION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. ME3959)

Dear Mr. Freeman:

Enclosed is the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff's revised environmental review schedule for the Seabrook Station (Seabrook) license renewal application (LRA). This revised schedule was established to accommodate a timely review of your application along with all other concurrent reviews of applications for license renewal. In developing the revised schedule, the NRC staff took several factors into consideration, including additional staff resources necessary to complete the review of additional information for severe accident mitigation alternatives. The NRC staff will continue to follow established review procedures and the enclosed schedule to complete the reviews required by Parts 54 and 51 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
