Plant News:

Braidwood: Both units at full power and quiet. Will be moving to yellow risk this weekend for cross-tying two buses together for maintenance on SAT.

Byron: Both units at full power and quiet. Will go to yellow risk later today to perform a flush of the 9-A containment spray valve to remove a hot spot.

Clinton: Full power and quiet.

Davis-Besse: Full power and green risk. The leakage is staying at zero. The INPO team inspection starts next week and will last two weeks. The 2.206 petition from Greenpeace was signed out yesterday.

DC Cook: Both units at full power and green risk. The undervoltage card for the automatic main generator voltage adjustment circuit on Unit 1 has been replaced, and they will attempt to swap to automatic today.

Dresden: Both units at full power and quiet. On Saturday morning at 1:00, Unit 2 will come offline for 16 hours1.851852e-4 days <br />0.00444 hours <br />2.645503e-5 weeks <br />6.088e-6 months <br /> in order to replace the master trip solenoid.

Duane Arnold: Currently at around 42% and increasing following a 93-hour outage to replace a safety valve. Planned to be back at full power at 2100.

Fermi: Full power and quiet. Eric Duncan is on site today.

Kewaunee: Full power, and at green risk.

LaSalle: Both units are at full power and quiet.

Monticello: Full power and quiet.

Palisades: Full power and quiet.

Perry: Full power and quiet.

Point Beach: Unit 1- Day 20 of the refueling outage. The licensee replaced the conoseal bulletnose on the upper intemals and plan to conduct an upper internals move today. Once completed, the licensee will flood up the cavity and begin fuel movements this weekend. Unit 2

- 100% power slightly elevated risk for planned maintenance on the "B" motor driven AFW pump scheduled for 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />. The Point Beach CAL was signed on April 21st and a press release will go out today.

There was a possible medical event at Missouri Baptist Hospital. A female patient who had received HDR treatment and was returning for followup had erythema on her thigh indicating a dose to the skin. Licensee is determining the skin dose received.

Support News:

There will be an EICS counterpart meeting during the first part of next week. Brent Clayton, Jim Heller, and Ken Lambert will be out of the office. Chuck Weil will be available if you have any questions.

We completed a ComSec audit, which went well.

We now have the capability of secure e-mail.

There will be a ROP call at 1:00 this afternoon in the DRP conference room. The main topic will be the grid reliability draft TI.

Terry Madeda has been selected as a Senior Physical Security Inspector.

Ken Brooks has been certified as a Physical Security Inspector.
