In accordance with Reporting Requirement 3 of Generic Letter 94-03,

'Intergranular Stress Corrosion Cracking of Core Shrouds in Boiling Water Reactors', this letter submits the results of the Hope Creek core shroud inspections completed on October 11,1997. During the inspections, no indications associated with Intergranular Stress Corrosion Cracking (IGSCC) or Irradiated Assisted Stress Corrosion Cracking (IASCC) were found initiating from the inside diameter or outside diameter surfaces. Further details concerning the inspections are contained in the attached report entitled, " Shroud Circumferential Weld Ultrasonic Examinations".
