authorized by Construction Permits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 for the Comanche Peak

Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, and was attended by members of your staff

and NRC representatives as listed in the attached inspection report.

The subject discussed at this meeting was your proposal to relocate and modify

the backup meteorological tower and associated monitor'.ng systems.

It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and provided the NRC

representatives present with a better understanding of the reasons and

justification for relocation of the backup meteorological tower.

Federal Regulations, a copy of this report will be placed in the NRC's Public
