Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Unresolved item 395/80-02-0'2 - Separation of Class 1E Circuits.

The licensee has responded to this item on January 16, 1982.

Region II forwarded the response to NRR for evaluation. NRR has responded that the (

information contained in the licensee response provides a technically acceptable conclusion to the problem. This item is closed.

Independent Inspection Effort The inspector examined electrical and instrumentation equipment in the auxiliary and fuel handling building to assure that the installations were completed in an acceptable manner.

Within the areas examined, there were no violations identified.

(Closed) Item 395/79-20-02 - NAMCO Limit Switches (10 CFR 50.55(e)).

On June 14, 1979, the licensee notified Region II of a 50.55(e) item concerning NAMCO stem mounted valve limit switches. The final report was submitted on July 10, 1979. The report has been reviewed and

On January 29, 1981, the licensee notified Region II of a 50.55(e) item concerning omission of isolation devices.

final report was submitted on September 11, 1981. The report has been reviewed and detern;ined to be acceptable.

(Closed) IEC 81-13, Torque Switch Electrical Bypass Circuit for Safeguard Service Valve Motors. The licensee has evaluated this item found that no control circuit designs call for the bypassing of

operator torque switches at this site.

(Closed) IEB No. 78-04, NAMCO Limit Switches, Unit 1.

Licensee letter of April 13, 1978, reports that the subject type NAMCO Limit Switches

are used on safety-related components at the station. The inspector has reviewed licensee letter of February 13, 1979, and determined that the request actions of the bulletin have been acceptably addressed.

(Closed) 396/81-14-06 - Procedure for verifying the tightness of instru-mentation boxes.

The licensee has issued a revision to the maintenance procedures which requires that the tightening of concuits fastened to instrumentation boxes be inspected. The licensee is issuing maintenance work orders to complete the inspections.
