Independent Inspection Effort The inspector conducted a walk-through inspection of the auxiliary building observing equipment and cable tray installation. The inspector examined the QA/QC conducted by the penetration sealing contractor.
Within the areas examined there were no violations identified.

(Closed) LII 80-37-01 - Broken Limitorque Torque Switches.
The licensee has submitted a final report dated November 21, 1980.
The installation of the valve operators have been changed to use the limit switches instead of the torque switches. The work has been completed.
The inspector-examined the inspection records for this design change.

(Closed) LII 80-37-02 - Component Cooling Pumps Swing Interlock. The licensee reported this item on October 23, 1980 and submitted a final report on November 21, 1980. This item only effected the " swing" pump.
The work was completed on a field change request (FCR) B-9910E. The inspector examined the inspection records of the FCR.

(Closed) LII 80-37-03 - Service Water Pumr, Speed Switch. The licensee has submitted a final report dated November 21, 1980.
The design change was incorporated by FCR-B-9958E. The required seal-in contacts were installed.
The inspector examined the inspection documentation covering FCR-B-9958E, Field Report 2642 and construction work requests 3427 and 3428.

(Closed) LII 80-37-06 - Uninsulated Instrument Cable Drain Wire Splices. The licensee has submitted a final report dated November 21, 1980.. The uninsulated spl. ices were -identified on thirteen penetra-

tions. A nonconformance notice (NCN) 1227E was dispositioned to rework the required drain wire splices. The inspector examined the disposi-tion of the NCN and the inspection documentation.

(Closed) LII 80-37-09 - Undersized Cables for Battery Chargers.
The licensee has submitted a final report dated November 20, 1980. This item was corrected by FCR-B-1192E, Revision 2 which required the removal of the existing cables and install new cables which are properly sized and derated for the random lay in the cable tray. The inspector examined the cable installation records and the FCR comple-tion.

(Closed) LII 80-14-01 - DC Systems Design. The licensee has submitted a final report dated May 28, 1980. The corrective action required that the DC source for non-safety-related panel DPN-8015 be removed from safety related panel DPN1HAl-ED.
The problem was identified by NCN 968E. The inspector examined the disposition of the NCN.

These were installed by operations on maintenance work request (MWR) 5162-7 and 51630-32. The inspector examined the MWR packages for the necessary inspections.
