Fuel Receipt and Storage

The inspector observed fuel handling operations in the Fuel Handling

Building. Fuel handling operations were observed to insure compliance with the Special Nuclear Material (SNM) license issued under 10 CFR

Part 70. Specifically, the following areas were observed:

O New fuel receipt inspection documentation and records were reviewed to insure compliance with the licensee documentation requirements.

Radiological controls were observed during the receipt inspection and during the fuel handling operation.

Licensee inspection of the shipping containers was also observed. Within the areas inspected no items of noncompliance or deviation were disclosed.

General Plart Tour The inspector toured various areas of the entire site and observed general plant conditions.

Welding operations on reactor coolant
