The inspectors met with Mr. Babb and other licensee representatives listed in paragraph I at the conclusion of the inspection on c

September 7, 1978.

The inspectors summarized the scope of the inspection and informed the licensee that J. L. Skolds had assumed the

project inspector responsibilities.

Preparation For Receipt Of Fuel The inspectors reviewed a copy of the Application for Special Nuclear

,

Material License and made a general tour of the Fuel Handling Building.

i The final work to prepare the Fuel Handling Building for the receipt of new fuel was being performed. Housekeeping within the storage area was j

j found acceptable.

Within the areas inspected, no items of noncompliance or deviations were identified.

General Plant Tour The inspectors toured various areas of the entire site and observed general plant conditions. Welding operations on the reactor coolant piping was observed as well as various construction activities. Within the areas inspected, no items of noncompliance or deviations were disclosed.
