The NRC inspector also held discussions with other station personnel in the areas of emergency detection and classifications, protective action recommendations, notification and communications, staffing and augmentation health physics, operations, and emergency response organization.

Follow-up on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Deficiency (382/8308-126): The authority and responsibilities of the onsite Emergency Coordinator (EC-) and those responsibilities which are to be transferred to the Emergency Operations Facility Director (E0FD) and the methods to be used which will provide a clear, unambiguous transfer of these responsibilities should be clarified and strengthened.

The NRC inspector reviewed appropriate sections of the plan and determined that the authorities and responsibilities had been revised to clarify and strengthen the transfer of authorities and responsibilities from the EC to

the E0FD.

Research and familiarize the technical support center technical staff of the relationships between core damage, anticipated coolant activity, and other useful parameters such as containment radiation levels and purge exhaust activity levels.

The NRC inspector reviewed EP-2-052 &

noted that the procedure had been-revised to include core / containment conditions irrespective of availability of offsite dose projections.

Licensee stated that LP&L' personnel,. onsite construction, Waterford 1 and 2 personnel, and Little Gypsy plant personnel would receive appropriate training by April 30, 1984.

The NRC inspector reviewed training, records for Waterford 1 and 2 and Little Gypsy..

with past findings and with the current status of the facility.
