Tobin, Qcti'ng Section Chief Date Safeguards Branch Inspection Summary Areas Inspected: Included review of the licensee's security plan, security program audit, security organization, vital and protected area barriers, security lighting, controls, alarm stations, detection and assessment aids, communications, access testing / maintenance of security equipment, compensatory measures, alarm responses, locks / keys and security related records and reports.
The inspection involved 62 inspector hours on site by two NRC inspectors. The inspection was begun during an offshift period; 24 inspection hours were accom-plished during offshif t periods.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during the inspection except for the following item:
Security Organization - A written security procedure detailing the duties of indi-viduals responsible for testing special detection equipment was not established.
Corrective action was completed and inspected on January 24, 1980. No response required.
