This routine, unannounced inspection consisted of a review and inspection of the following security related areas:
Physical Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Security Organization; Physical Barriers - Protected Area, Physical Barriers - Vital Areas; Compensatory Measures; Assessment Aids; Access Control - Personnel; Access Control - Packages; Access Control -
Vehicles; Detection Aids - Protected Area; Detection Aids - Vital Areas; Alarm Stations; and Communications.
Results:
Two violations of regulatory requirements were identified.
1.
Failure to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of a revision to the Physical Security Plan within the required two-month time period.
2.
Failure to equip vital area hatch penetration with an intrusion detection alarm.
