Included review of Security Organization; Access Control (Vital), (Escorting); Locks and Keys; Security Equipment Installation; Com-pensatory Measures and previous enforcement action.

The Resident Inspector conducted the June 6, 1979 inspection. The July 18-20, 1979 inspection involved 23 inspector hours on site by the security inspector.

The inspection was begun during regular hours; 3 inspection hours were accom-plished during offshift periods.

Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during the inspection except for the following 2 items:

1.

Access Control-A vital area door was found unsecured and unattended. This item was identified by the resident inspector (Deficiency 50-321/79-23-01; 50-366/79-27-01).

2.

Access Control-A service vehicle was found improperly secured in the pro-tected area (Infraction 50-321/79-23-02; 50-321/79-27-02).
