This routine, unannounced inspection involved a review of the security event discussed in Florida Power's Report No. 3F0187-12; a followup of several open enforcement items; an update on the Regulatory Effectiveness Review corrective measures; and a review of the following areas:
Security Program Audit; Vital Area Barriers; Power Supply; Detection Aids - Vital Areas; Detection Aids - Protected Area; Alarm Stations; Assessment Aids; and Protected Area Barrier.
Results:
Three violations of regulatory requirements were identified.
87-02-01 Failure to maintain positive access control to a vital area.
87-02-02 Failure to submit a Physical Security Plan change.
87-02-03 Failure to maintain vital area logging requirements.
