On March 23, 1989, an enforcement conference was held in the Region IV office with representatives of Nebraska Public Power District and NRC staff to discuss the findings documented in NRC Inspection Report 50-298/89-09 dated March 3, 1989. The attendance list is attache The NRC discussed its concern regarding an apparent violation of NRC requirements. The apparent violation involved corrective actions which led to a repeated failure of an emergency diesel generator on February 13, 1989. The licensee discussed the sequence of events, the safety significance of events, and the corrective ections taken. Handouts prepared by NPPD for the meeting are attache Attachments:
