-2-Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Open) Deviation 281/79-08-01, Failure To Implement Fire Protection Commitments in Document Entitled S. G. R. P. For Surry Units 1 and An inspection was made of the Unit 2 containment area to determine implementation of the fire protective features for this are It was determined from observation of the containment area and conversation with VEPCO supervising personnel that the following fire protection and related emergency systems temporary measures have been augmented: Provisions for additional fire hose and relative equipment at two hose stations opposite containment and/or entrances of containmen Provisions for fire extinguishers throughout containment and provisions for additional extinguishers in areas of welding and flame cuttin Provisions for additional emergency lighting at equipment and steam generator cubicle hatch This item shall remain open until complete implementation of the fire protective features for the Steam Generator Replacement Projec Unresolved Items Unresolved items were not identified during this inspectio.
