REPORT NOS. 50-280/88-01 AND 50-281/88~01 Thank you for your response of March 25, 1988, to our Notice of Violation issued on February 25, 1988, concerning activities conducted at your Surry facilit We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.20 We are concerned, however, that the corrective steps which you have taken regarding station pol icy changes for procedure deviations were apparently inadequate to prevent the violations which occurred on March 3, 1988, during maintenance on the stuck incore detecto The enforcement action for these violations will be discussed in separate correspondenc We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions in response to Inspection Report 50-280,281/88-01 during future inspection We appreciate your cooperation in this matteri cc:
