50-220 85-01 This refers to your letter dated May 1, 1985, in response to our letter dated April 2, 1985.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your letter.
These actions will be examined during a future inspection of your licensed program.
With reference to your response to Unresolved Item 85-01-02 (Adequacy of Fire Protection for Redundant Safe Shutdown Trains in Reactor Building), you are urged to resolve the issue directly with NRR as it is a licensing related mat-ter.
After it is resolved with NRR and all your related actions are complete, Region I will close out this item from the Region Outstanding Item File.
With reference to your response to Unresolved Item 85-01-03 (Security Modifi-cations to Fire Doors),
we understand that you have instituted appropriate interim compensatory measures (fire watches),
for those fire doors identified as having potentially invalid UL labels, in accordance with the Technical Specifications requirements.
You are required to continue these measures until the issue is satisfactorily resolved.
