20. INGESTION PATilWAY ENERCISE
1. Demonstrate the capability to assist the State of Connecticut during ingestion pathway activities.

EXTENT OF PLAY

. The utility will utilire control cells as necessary to simulate activities of the on site emergency or recovery organization.

The utility will provide players, as control cells, to serve in the role of Executive Spokesperson and Technical Assistant, to the State LOC in llartford. These players will provide technical support as necessary, advise state decision makers on plant status and recovery act;vities.

21. ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING DRILL
1. The utility will demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze environmental samples of water, vegetation and soil.

EXTENT OF PLAY This demonstration will be performed out-of sequence from the main exercise scenario.

An environmental sampic team from the utility will be deployed to simulate assistance to the state in the _ _

collcction of enviroumental samples.

The deplo> cd sample team will collect at least one sample of each of the following; water, vegetation and soil.

The team will demonstrate use of procedures and equipment in the collection of the samples.

The utility avuple team will be dispatched by controllers, to predetennined locations for sample collection.
