' o L, LER ATTACHMENT - RO #1-82-135 Facility: BSEP Unit No. 1 Event Date: October 19, 1982 As a result of an event involving suppression chamber level instrumentation on Unit No. 1, reported in LER 1-81-07 and several subsequent LERs and a post-TMI requirement, a plant modification package has been developed which will install'a condensing pot in the reference leg to increase the accuracy and reliability of this instrumentation, and remove .the requirement to have flow in the reference leg to ensure that'it is full. Following the assurance of this modification's reliability, the comparison of these instruments' indications to local indication will be discontinued.
