Parrot on July 15, 2020. the NRC informed GEH that supplemental information was necessary to enable the staff to make an independent assessment as to whether the requested exemption to § 50.82(a)(3) for VBWR would present an undue risk to public health and safety under§ 50.12(a). Upon reviewing the nine RAis included in that letter, GEH is requesting that the proposed response due date be extended from to August 17, 2020, to April 28, 2021 to facilitate the extensive sampling and analysis necessary to provide thoughtful and comprehensive responses.
