Allreactorsystemshavebeenremovedfromthecontainmentexceptforthereactorvessel.

ThewaterfromthevesselwasremovedandtransferredtotheWasteEvaporatorPlant(WEP)

onJanuaryandNovember2022usingChangeAuthorizationCA202202,VBWRVesselEntry,

WaterRemovalandInspection/Survey,approvedon1/20/2022.

TheladderthatleadstothebasementwasreplacedwithstairsusingChangeAuthorization

202203,StairInstallationinVBWRLowerLevel,approvedonJune6,2022.

AsbestosandLeadabatementworkwascompletedincontainmentonOctoberandNovember

2022,usingCA202204,AsbestosandLeadabatement,approvedonJune29,2022.

Structuralconditionsandradiationandcontaminationlevelsremainatacceptablelevels.

Environmentaldataismaintainedonsiteandavailableforreview.

2.0STATUSOFFACILITY

Inaccordancewithwrittenprocedures,theFacilityManagercontrolsaccesstothecontainment

buildingandgeneralsystems.Thefacilitycontinuestobeindeactivatedstatusinsafestorage

condition.

3.0ROUTINEPATROLS

Thefacilitywasinspectedweekly,quarterly,andannuallyinaccordancewithwrittenstation

procedures.

Patrolsidentifiedthefollowing:

x UnchangedEfflorescenceonthebasementwallsandfloor.

x UnchangedSpallingofconcrete,corrosionstainsandrebarcorrosionontheBasement

PumpFoundationpedestal.

x UnchangedSeepageofwaterintothebasementborelocation.

Theseconditionshavebeenevaluated,posenothreattostructuralintegrity,andarebeing

monitored.Thestructuralconditionofthefacilityisbeingactivelymonitoredandisstructurally

soundtoensuremaximumprotectionforpublichealthandsafety.

Completeradiationandcontaminationsurveysofthefacilityindicatethatlevelsremainlow.

Resultsofthesurveysarepresentedinattachment1.Airsamplingresultsarepresentedin

attachment2.Theradiation/contaminationlevelslistedarerepresentativebutnotnecessarily

maximumvalues.

AnalyticalresultsofgroundwatersamplesareavailableintheAnnualEnvironmentalReport

submittedonMarch2,2023.

5.0ACTIVITIES

Inspectionoftheinstalledgaugesshowednopropagationofconcretecracking.

Therewerenopreventiveorcorrectivemaintenanceactivitiesperformedhavingsafety

significanceduringthereportingperiod.

annualstructuralinspections,andageneralexaminationofconditionsthroughoutthebuilding.

Inaccordancewithwrittenprocedures,theFacilityManagercontrolsaccesstothecontainment

building.

Structuralconditionsandradiationandcontaminationlevelsremainatacceptablelevels.

Environmentaldataismaintainedonsiteandavailableforreview.

2.0STATUSOFFACILITY

Inaccordancewithwrittenprocedures,theFacilityManagercontrolsaccesstothecontainment

buildingandgeneralsystems.Thefacilitycontinuestobeindeactivatedstatus.Theplugstothe

reactorvessel,headstorageshield,andthewoodencoveroverthefuelstoragepoolremainin

place.

3.0ROUTINEPATROLS

Thefacilitywasinspectedweekly,quarterly,andannuallyinaccordancewithwrittenstation

procedures.



Threeissueswereidentifiedduringtheannualinspection:

1. Loose,falleninsulationwasfoundaroundtheperimeterofthemainfloorofEVESR.The

insulationisnotastructuralcomponentanddidnotcontainasbestos.

2. Corrosionwasidentifiedontheexposedrebarfloortieinextensionsthatarevisibleat

multiplelevelsofthefacility.Theseextensionsarenotstructuralcomponents.

3. Minimalefflorescencewasidentifiedatafewlocations.Thisconditionwasevaluatedand

doesnotposeastructuralissue.
