This letter confirms a Category 3 public meeting which has been scheduled for April 21, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (EDT). The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of the meeting is to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant with the public. The NRC will be available to ensure the public's issues and concerns are understood and considered.

LOCATION: Appling County Courthouse Annex 69 Tippins Street Baxley, Ga. 31513 PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting/open house session is to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant with the public. There will be a brief presentation starting at 7:00 p.m. (EDT),

following the presentation, NRC representatives will be available to address questions from members of the public.
